AML Policy

Anti-Money Laundering Policy | Last Updated: January 2026

1. Introduction

Mystxo is committed to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy outlines our procedures and controls to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activities. We comply with all applicable anti-money laundering laws and regulations.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

Mystxo implements Know Your Customer procedures to verify the identity of our users. This includes:

  • Collection of personal identification information during registration
  • Verification of government-issued identification documents
  • Address verification through utility bills or bank statements
  • Enhanced due diligence for high-value transactions
  • Ongoing monitoring of customer activity and transactions

3. Transaction Monitoring

We employ sophisticated transaction monitoring systems to identify unusual or suspicious patterns. Our systems analyze transaction velocity, amount thresholds, geographic indicators, and behavioral patterns to flag potentially suspicious activity for further review.

4. Suspicious Activity Reporting

When suspicious activity is identified, Mystxo follows established procedures to investigate and, where required by law, report to the appropriate authorities. We maintain detailed records of all investigations and reports. Employees are trained to recognize and escalate potential money laundering indicators.

5. Customer Due Diligence Levels

We apply risk-based due diligence measures:

  • Simplified Due Diligence: For low-risk customers with minimal transaction volumes
  • Standard Due Diligence: For regular customers meeting standard thresholds
  • Enhanced Due Diligence: For high-risk customers, PEPs, or large transactions

6. Record Keeping

Mystxo maintains comprehensive records of all customer identification documents, transaction records, and internal investigation reports for a minimum of five years, or longer as required by applicable regulations. These records are securely stored and available for regulatory review.

7. Employee Training

All Mystxo employees receive regular training on AML policies, procedures, and red flag indicators. Training is updated annually and whenever significant regulatory changes occur. Employees are required to acknowledge and adhere to our AML policies.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Mystxo:

  • Use of anonymous or fictitious accounts
  • Structuring transactions to avoid reporting thresholds
  • Using the platform to convert illicit funds
  • Third-party funding without proper authorization
  • Any activity designed to obscure the source of funds

9. Compliance Officer

Mystxo has designated a Compliance Officer responsible for overseeing our AML program, ensuring policy implementation, conducting internal audits, and serving as the primary contact for regulatory authorities.
